Attorney advertising notice
This website is attorney advertising. Rensch & Rensch Law is a law firm licensed to practice in the State of Nebraska and the State of Iowa. The content of this website is intended to inform the general public and prospective clients about the firm and the services we offer. It is not intended to solicit clients outside the jurisdictions in which our attorneys are licensed to practice.
The attorney responsible for the content of this website is Richard J. Rensch, Rensch & Rensch Law, 7602 Pacific St. Ste 300, Omaha, NE 68114.
Not legal advice
The information on this website is for general informational purposes only and is not legal advice. Laws change and each case depends on its specific facts. Reading this website, watching any video on this site, or sending us a message does not establish an attorney-client relationship and does not substitute for consulting a licensed attorney about your own situation. You should not act, or refrain from acting, based on information found here without seeking the advice of an attorney licensed in the appropriate jurisdiction.
No attorney-client relationship by contact
Submitting the contact form, sending an email, or calling our office does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only after we have completed our conflict check and you and the firm have signed a written engagement agreement. Please do not send time-sensitive information or confidential details through this website before we confirm we can take your matter.
Past results; no guarantee of outcome
Descriptions of case results, recoveries, settlements, verdicts, and testimonials on this website describe what the firm has achieved in specific past matters. Each case is different. Past results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future matter. The facts, law, venue, and other circumstances of your case will determine the result, and no lawyer can ethically promise a particular outcome in advance.
Contingent-fee representation
Many of our personal-injury and wrongful-death cases are handled on a contingent-fee basis, meaning that attorney's fees are paid as a percentage of the recovery. If there is no recovery, no attorney's fee is owed. Case expenses (filing fees, expert witnesses, deposition costs, medical record charges, etc.) may still be owed depending on the engagement agreement. The specific fee structure and allocation of expenses will be set out in your signed engagement agreement. The statement that fees or costs are contingent on the outcome does not mean the client is absolved from responsibility for court costs or expenses of litigation absent an agreement to the contrary.
Testimonials and reviews
Testimonials on this website are drawn from past clients who have given permission to share their experience. Testimonials are not a guarantee, warranty, or prediction regarding the outcome of any legal matter. We do not compensate clients for testimonials or reviews.
Jurisdictional scope
Our attorneys are licensed in Nebraska and Iowa. We may associate with counsel licensed in other jurisdictions where appropriate and permissible under the applicable rules of professional conduct. Nothing on this website is an offer to represent you in a jurisdiction where we are not authorized to practice.
